What the Bible says about light and seed

The True Light "In him, (the Lord Jesus) was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world,…the world didn’t recognize him." John 1:4,9.

The Good Seed and the Weeds “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seeds in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. Matthew 13:24,25.

  1. This is totally what "The Shack" does. It has crept into all of evangelicalism, it seems, and as a friend of mine said just today, it's become sort of the Evangelical version of the "race card". They reserve the right to believe what they believe, regardless of what scripture says, because to them it is all subject to private interpretation. In many cases, the teaching is much more insidious and subtle, because pastors who attend seminary are being trained almost the same way Freemasons cultivate their members, that is, they don't outright tell them they are feeding them deviations and corruptions of doctrines, they just teach them what to think, and in turn they go out and preach accordingly and unaware in their own ignorance, perpetuate the same. And it is getting so bad that true believers who do know the Word, are having trouble finding a solid church to attend. The Lord wasn't kidding when He called this "perilous times" and when he said deception would wax "worse and worse". However, even those who grasped this reality, I think are finding it beyond what they had anticipated in many cases. Come, Lord Jesus!
