A curious blend of a hope-blue skyAnd an absence-gray fog,
Opaque light, shadowy moiré eclipse
Slowly creeps into my thoughts.
Such a close distance comes to trouble
My peaceful existence, as a sweet reproach,
Sensation of imperceptible well-being
Of a belonging mimicking a habit
Chosen need that transcends defining.
How could I harmonize the chorus
Without damaging the whole
That makes and keeps us one?
Notes in flight freely escape
Gliding in the vestibule
And the long, slow corridor of time.
Countdown without recourse
Except a prayer coated with hope
Granting us the vision of a star-studded heaven
Through the weft of a longing driven
By the flame of a hearth long awaited
Within reach of our dream,
Bearer of triumphant sighs of relief.
This deceitful mirror, soot covered
Retreats under the cover of night
Faced with the incomparable light
Of an invincible and sweet reality.
